As we approach the Easter bank holiday weekend, can you believe we’re almost a quarter of the way through 2018 already?! To help you through the half term, we’ve put together some fresh ideas for family friendly days out across Milton Keynes.
Historic Easter!
A novel Easter Egg Hunt where everyone wins something! Held by MK Museum from 30 March – 2 April, the whole family can enjoy a tour of the historic site whilst searching for eggs that can be traded in for delicious chocolate! Visit the vintage Victorian farmhouse and take part in a fascinating air raid experience in the wartime garden, amongst lots more wholesome activities. Now in its summer opening hours, visitors are welcome from Wednesday-Sunday 11am-4:30pm. Plus, pay once to visit and then go free for the rest of the year!
Easter Endurance!
Looking for a spring activity that’s incredibly energetic, fun-filled and a little different? Well, give Zorb Wars at Willen Lake a go! Take on your family and friends at a series of fun challenges in amusing ‘body zorbs’, including Bubble Football, Bubble Bowling and Capture the Flag amongst many other challenging activities.
Adorable Easter!
Enjoy a sheep-tastic Easter Lambing day at Thrift Farm on Sunday 8 April! With over 100 sheep ready to give birth, informative talks will be held by the farmer, there’ll be a BBQ and hog roast, a bouncy castle, face painting, colouring corner, storytime and the chance to meet Thrifty the Mascot! Open 7 days a week, 9:30am-4pm, Thrift Farm has so much to see and do; oodles of family fun to be had this spring!
